Locally Owned. Community Focused. In Old Town Since 2006.

About DWC CoWorking in Fort Collins

DWC CoWorking is a locally owned and operated coworking space located at 324 Remington Street, Suite 110, in Old Town Fort Collins, Colorado. We have been part of the Fort Collins business community since 2006, making us one of the longest-running coworking spaces in Northern Colorado. Our space is built for people who need a quiet, professional place to get real work done, not a flashy lounge with a ping pong table.

Whether you are a freelancer looking for affordable office space in Fort Collins, a remote worker who needs to get out of the house, or a small team searching for a flexible private office downtown, DWC CoWorking has a workspace option that fits your needs and your budget.

How DWC CoWorking Started in Old Town Fort Collins

DWC CoWorking

DWC CoWorking grew out of Digital Workshop Center, a technology education company that has called Old Town Fort Collins home since 2006. DWC started as an in-person tech school with a full campus in downtown Fort Collins. Over the years, the school transitioned to 100% online classes and our team grew to more than 20 remote employees spread across the country.

By 2016, parts of our Fort Collins campus were sitting empty more often than they were full. Instead of letting that space go to waste, we decided to remodel several offices and open them up as a shared coworking space. DWC CoWorking was born, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions we ever made.

The combination of a coworking community and a tech school just works. Our members get access to a professional workspace in one of the best locations in Fort Collins, and they are surrounded by people who are building businesses, learning new skills, and pushing their careers forward every day.

What started as a handful of desks in a quiet corner of our campus has grown into a full coworking space with dedicated desks, flex desks, private offices, a conference room, a phone booth, a kitchen lounge, and all the coffee you can drink. We have watched solo entrepreneurs grow into small agencies, remote workers find their people, and freelancers finally get a professional space that does not involve a kitchen table or a noisy coffee shop.

What Makes Our Fort Collins Coworking Space Different

There are a lot of coworking spaces in Fort Collins these days. Some are run by national chains. Some are big, loud, and designed to look good on Instagram. We are none of those things, and that is exactly why our members love it here.

We Built a Coworking Space for People Who Actually Work

Most of our members chose DWC CoWorking because they needed a professional environment where they could focus. We keep our space intentionally small, intentionally quiet, and intentionally affordable. If you are looking for a coworking space in Fort Collins where you can put your head down and get things done without constant distractions, you are in the right place.

Locally Owned Coworking, Not a National Franchise

DWC CoWorking is not a WeWork. We are not a Regus. We are not a franchise that opened last year with venture capital money and a marketing budget bigger than our entire revenue. We are a small, locally owned business in Fort Collins that has been in the same Old Town location for almost two decades. We know our members by name. We respond to feedback the same week. And when something in the space needs fixing, the owner is usually the one fixing it.

Community Without the Corporate Feel

Our coworking community is made up of freelancers, remote workers, consultants, small business owners, startup founders, and creative professionals. Some of our members have been with us for five or six years. Others joined last month. The common thread is that everyone here is building something, and they want to be around other people who are doing the same thing.

We are not going to force you into mandatory networking events or make you wear a lanyard. But if you want to grab lunch with the person at the next desk, swap business advice over coffee, or bounce an idea off someone who has been in your shoes, that happens naturally here every single day.

Scott Z.
DWC CoWorking is a fantastic coworking space. The managers and fellow coworkers are super friendly and easy to get along with. If you need a well equipped space that is quiet enough to concentrate, then this is the place for you. I have a home office and use several coworking spaces around town. This is the one I use when I want to be out of the house with friendly people but also need to get high focus work done.
Response from the owner:We love having you here Scott!
Nathan S.
I used DWC CoWorking for the last two years and I loved working from there! Really quiet environment to focus on projects and the staff was really nice.
They have several standing desk options which was really nice so that I was not sitting 8-9hrs a day!
If your are looking for a coworking place in FoCo to focus and get work done, DWC is the place!
